Getting started
- Open Trip and choose (or create) a city, then add a landmark pin with a photo.
- Use Collage to place pins into a layout, crop frames, and save a page to Pages.
- Browse city folders in Cities — open a collage page to continue editing it on Collage.
- Open Me for your wallet, timeline, search, privacy links, and Clear All Data.
Frequently asked questions
- Is my data backed up to the cloud?
- No. Pinctx stores your stampbook on your iPhone. If you use iCloud Backup for your device, app data may be included in that backup according to Apple’s policies.
- How do I delete all my data?
- Go to Me > Clear All Data and confirm. This removes cities, pins, collage pages, media, and resets coins to the starter balance.
- How do I delete a single pin?
- Open the pin detail screen and tap Delete Pin, or swipe a pin on Trip and choose Delete.
- What are Pinctx Coins used for?
- Coins are an in-app currency for premium exports such as City Travel Zine PDFs and saving collage images to Photos. Purchase packs from Me > Wallet; payments are processed by Apple.
- I purchased coins but did not receive them
- Ensure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase. If coins still do not appear, email support@pinctx.app with your Apple receipt.
- Can I restore coin purchases?
- Pinctx Coins are consumable credits spent when you use export features. There is no restore flow for coins already spent.
- Why won’t collage reminders appear?
- Pinctx uses local notifications. Allow notifications in iOS Settings > Pinctx, then enable a reminder when creating a pin.
- Camera, photos, or microphone was denied
- Open iOS Settings > Pinctx and enable the permission you need.
- How do I open a saved collage page?
- On Collage, tap Pages, or open a city in Cities and tap a collage page to load it into Collage.
- What does Clear do on Collage?
- Clear empties the frames on the current board. It does not delete pages already saved in Pages.
Troubleshooting
- Demo data on first launch — Pinctx may include sample cities and pins so you can explore. Use Clear All Data for a blank stampbook.
- Export looks stretched — update to the latest app version; postcards and PDFs use aspect-fill so photos keep their proportions.
- Purchase stuck — check network connection, restart the app, and confirm the Apple ID. Contact us with the receipt if it persists.
- App won’t open a legal page — check your network, then tap Retry on the error panel.

Pinctx is provided as-is for personal travel journaling. Premium features that cost coins are optional. Apple’s standard EULA terms for apps distributed on the App Store also apply where required.
